This exhibit is a visual journey presenting the microscopic world as an important dynamic of our estuary. <span class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id7734\"   title=\"<em>Read more about the exhibition...<\/em>\"    ><em>Read more about the exhibition...<\/em><\/span><span id='swap-id7734'  class='colomat-swap' style='display:none;'><em>Close<\/em><\/span><div id=\"target-id7734\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">It showcases Appleton\u2019s discoveries expressed as microphotography, cut paper works, <a href=\"https:\/\/bethappleton.net\/?page_id=4346\">videos<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bethappleton.net\/?page_id=4359\">digital assemblages<\/a>. \u201cMysteriously beautiful, I have learned that diatoms are so much more; they are vital to our health, the waters surrounding us and the world beyond,\u201d said Beth Appleton. \u201cThis exploration has led me to the creative bridge between art and science.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The public is also invited to an\u00a0opening reception\u00a0on Friday, October 23, 2015, 5:00 \u2013 8:00 p.m. The exhibition can be viewed, free of charge, in the Nature Center during normal business hours Tuesday \u2013 Saturday, 9:00 a.m. \u2013 4:00 p.m. \u00a0through February 23, 2016.
